The Society is committed to making world cinema accessible and affordable to the public. It organizes the annual flagship Haryana International Film Festival (HIFF) and After 6 successful Edition of HIFF, Now the society is ready to organise the 7th Haryana International Film Festival in Tricity ( Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali). Sanskriti Society is also lauching HIFF Club with the aim to enrich and deepen the experience of Indian moviegoers through a monthly programme of contemporary, retrospective and thematic showcases.
Through its annual programmes, the Society promotes international appreciation of Regional, National and International film culture; introduces world cinema to Indian audiences; and continues to underline Haryana’s key position in the international film community.
HIFFS’s dedication to quality and intelligent programming, its devotion to the discovery of new areas of filmmaking in the World, its exceptional work for World cinema, seminars and acclaimed programmes, gives it a unique and respected international reputation that helps promote National and International cinema at home and abroad. Haryana International Film Festival is the only festival which create an international image with its first edition in September 2016 at Hisar (Haryana), India . More than 20000 audience witness this very first biggest event in the state of Haryana. The second Edition was organised at Dharam Nagari Kurukshetra, The city of Mahabharta. This 4 days event was full packed audience event and create big atmosphere of International Cinema in the Agricultural State of Haryana. 3rd and 4th Haryana International Film Festivals has created history when these were organised in Asia’s biggest University…Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar.

Today, the HIFF has grown to be India’s largest cultural event and is one of World’s most reputable platforms for filmmakers, film professionals and filmgoers from all over the world to launch new work and experience outstanding films. Screening over 350 titles from 50 countries in 3 major cultural venues in Haryana, the HIFF reaches an audience of over 100000.
